Wow.
That was AWFUL. Random projections of random athletes with no connection to Boston flying across Boston landmarks amid Big Brother-esque commands of "Get Ready." Then everyone ends up inexplicably swirling out of CGI waterspouts out of the Charles, and running across fake fireworks?
Awful.
Not great, but not Awful.
I thought it could have been a little better, but listen, it was done by Gillette, and exposure like this doesn't do Boston any harm. I actually would have liked to see some more daytime city scenes.
Hands down the best part of the production is the use of M83's Steve McQueen. They get huge points for that.
Swimmers, divers, runners etc. shave more!
Gillette sure would love more men shaving their whole body instead of mostly just their face...
