For one example, when they were wheeling me into the Beth Israel with massive chest pains that resulted in my quadruple bypass, I said to the poor orderly who was taking me in, "No one cuts me open but a Jewish doctor, you understand? I want the glasses hanging off the bridge of the nose, the bow tie, the fucking works, got it?"

And they gave me just that.

Someday I'll tell you the hilarious stories about all of the dead bodies I've seen due to violence in our fair city. They're a hoot!

Talk to somebody who works in a morgue, an emergency room, or other places where death and dying are so familiar, they are family and not strangers.

...happened before the storm...

The is aweful not matter who it happened to, but I hope this wasn't someone coming home from a party on the bike path. It's amazing that the BPD can't be bothered to patrol their own back yard.

Patrol their own back yard? Just what are they supposed to do - station men out there on two shifts 24/7/365 at $50K each just in case some day someone might want to fire off some shots?

If by "the bike path" you mean Southwest Corridor Park, that isn't BPD jurisdiction, even though it runs right past their HQ. It's DCR property and therefore patrolled by State Police, to whom you should direct your concerns.

and the appended map shows Boston University between Huntington and Tremont.

I was wondering why the B Line was so empty today...

this is so normal now i don't even care but in my mind boston would be better off if we took a bulldozer to all of Annunciation Road and the public housing complex by Wentworth. People who sell rocks and live off gov.$ can eat shit in my books.

Assuming that it is accurate, this crime has nothing whatsoever to do with anything on Annunciation Road or in the area of Wentworth Institute. It's blocks away on the other side of the Orange Line.

Also, what do you have against jewelers?
