"Latkes" or potato pancakes are actually quite common year round in many non-Jewish cuisines. Potato pancakes are common in any Polish or Eastern European restaurants and markets (as dry mixes). Also not on the list, but Euromart and Baltic Deli in Dorchester have it year round.
