As a Belmont resident, I can see myself now getting my radicchio and Blue Dream at the Fresh Pond Shopping Center!

Those are the only places that pharmacies are allowed to to sell other medications, right, so that makes sense.

Cambridge has been crapping on its neighbors in Belmont and Arlington for a long time. The unfettered expansionist development policies have greatly harmed the Alewife Brook wetlands and expanded the FEMA floodplain further into residential neighborhoods. Traffic burdens are added (apartment complexes and office buildings) without roadway relief. Parking at both strip malls gets filled up while Alewife Brook and Fresh Pond Parkways become parking lots impassible for ambulances and other 911 responders. But, hey, a 24 hour dispensary next to the 24 hour Dunkies would be convenient, a natural synergy.

I know right! They need to build a double decker expressway through Arlington to provide roadway relief!

Yeah, my first thought was, so much for encouraging pedestrian- and transit-friendly businesses.

My next thought is, they *want* people to drive to get their pot?
