She worked so hard and did so much work for so many years she must have been on speed or something...I wonder if her future cell mate is doing time for a drug related conviction?

Is there also a way (via settlement or whatever) to also bar her from holding a job with the Commonwealth ever again?

I'd have preferred she got time equivalent to that which she took from everyone who was wrongfully convicted because of her actions...to be served consecutively.

What did the prosecutors get for contacting her about cases????? Anything??? I know she did a lot of harm, but it's not like she was in with the defence to get people off.

I thought she got off with a relatively light sentence. Considering the damage done and the release of many who should have remained in prison, she should have done double what she received.

She is getting super easy off. Think about what you would get for tampering with evidence or perjuring just ONCE. Considering how many times she did it this sentence is rediculously easy, not unexpected, but still.

Unfortunately without transparency, regulation, and oversight corruption is inevitable in groups who have power over others in any setting--particularly when it comes to criminal justice. Groupthink becomes so called "noble corruption" where the usual rules, regulations, and ethics no longer apply. Transparency, oversight, regulation, and consequences are the only approach to prevent this from recurring. And it's not just rogue lab techs--it is a systemic problem. Complaints are ignored or tabled by the apologists and the obtuse. There should be zero tolerance for lab fraud yet it continues as SOP. See links below. Nothing has changed. It's still happening
