Four arrested in another Dorchester drug raid

Boston Police report arresting four people in a raid on the house at 161 Devon St. around 12:15 p.m. yesterday.

Police say that, armed with a search warrant, officers seized a Lorcin .22 caliber firearm with magazine and ammunition, several plastic bags' worth of heroin, several plastic bags worth of cocaine, several plastic bags' worth of Oxycodone, drug paraphernalia and several hundred dollars in cash.

Arrested: Eduardo Guzman, 44, on a charge of trafficking Class A drugs between 28 and 99 grams; Christian Samuel Ferreira-Reyes, 24, for trafficking Class A drugs between 28 and 99 grams and trafficking Class B drugs over 200 grams; Estrelita A. Peguero, 21, for trafficking Class A drugs between 28 and 99 grams and trafficking Class B drugs over 200 grams; and Miguel Alberto Perez, 21, for trafficking Class A drugs, 100-199 grams, possession with intent to distribute Class A drugs, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.

On Friday, police arrested four other people in a raid on a home on Treadway Road.

I wonder if those drugs came from out of state. Maybe it's time for some national drug sense laws.
