State Street bank stuck up

Alert New England and A.P. Blake report the Century Bank branch at 136 State St. was held up around 1:20 p.m. by a white man, medium build about 6', who showed a black handgun.
A Citizens Bank branch on Boylston Street was held up yesterday by a man with a similar description and gun.

That State Street bank as opposed to the more humble State Street Bank.

Suspect not located. Time is now 4:40pm.
He shed some of his clothes, which police believe to be the same action taken by another recent robber. A jacket was found in Faneuil Hall which was taken in as evidence.
