I was really bummed to lose Ban Chiang, but if this means good pho without a trip to Chinatown or Dorchester, I'm mollified.

I was kind of neutral on Ban Chiang and Wonderspice--usually we "import" our takeout Thai from Rod Dee in Fenway. But pho doesn't travel well--it'd be great to have a good place there.

St. Patrick's Day is one day a year, but pho is forever.

The missus liked the Thai place, so it will be a loss. Of course, there's several Thai places in West Roxbury, but we are definitely pho-less in the great southwest.

Great to see this coming to JP, but there is already great pho and banh mi in West Roxbury if you can't wait. Check out Banh Mi Ngon at 1759 Centre Street...

Pho will be a broth of fresh air for Centre St. I just hope I can keep my cravings at basil it opens...

I would *love* for a Vietnamese restaurant to move into JP.
