Body found at Revere Beach

State Police report the body has been delivered to the medical examiner to determine cause of death. No word on identity, although the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports the body, found late this morning, appears to be that of an adult.

A passerby spotted them late this morning just inside the water at the shoreline and called his observations in at about 11:30. There was no identifying information in the clothing and the condition of the remains is such that investigators were not able to determine age, gender, or ethnicity at the scene. We’re hopeful, however, that pathologists may be able to shed some light on the identity of the deceased as well as a potential cause and manner of death.
