Police, firefighters team up to arrest break-in suspects atop Beacon Hill building undergoing renovations

Boston Police report arresting three people who allegedly used a fire escape and scaffolding to clamber to the top of 9 Park St. early this morning.

Police required the help of a BFD ladder truck to get the suspects - and the arresting officers - down.

Police say officers responded around 1:45 a.m. after a neighbor called 911 to report hearing people up on the roof.

Officers, unable to gain access to the roof, observed a white female on the roof of the building. Following several verbal commands, the female climbed down the ladder. The female suspect stated that she was on the roof with two black males, but that she did not know their names. Officers then scaled the ladder to the roof and, following an extensive search, were able to locate the two male suspects in the vicinity of an open window leading to one of the condos. The suspects and officers were brought to safety with the assistance of a ladder provided by the Boston Fire Department.

Stanley Staco reports one of the suspect was placed into custody on the scaffolding.

Mahad Fara, 19, of Charlestown, Ismail Ibrahim, 19, of Jamaica Plain, and Patricia Evelyn Lambert, 22, of Medford, were all charged with breaking and entering a building with intent to commit a felony, trespassing and resisting arrest.

Innocent, etc.

Wouldn't be the first time a group of people was busted on the roof of this building. It's too hot now, not worth the risk.
