Another armed robbery in Jamaica Plain, but this time, an arrest made

Tostado surveillance photos via BPD.

A Somerville man already charged with two armed holdups in Cambridge now also faces charges he held up a sandwich shop in Jamaica Plain last week.

Police declined to say whether they think Richard Perry, 41, has any connection with four other armed holdups in Jamaica Plain, but said they are looking for another possible suspect in connection with the Jan. 22 robbery at Tostado, 300 Centre St. - and that their investigation into the other robberies remains active.

Cambridge and Boston Police and federal marshals arrested Perry on Jan. 23 at 106 Minden St., initially for the Cambridge robberies. But an investigation linked him to the holdup at Tostado around 6:30 p.m. the day before, a BPD spokeswoman said today.

Police say Perry walked into the sandwich shop, took out a gun and pointed it at a clerk. He left with $258.

Innocent, etc.

plus a full beard instead of just the goatee, and he'd be the Hipster Bank Robber. Appropriately out of Somerville.
