Michele McPhee has a meltdown

So Michele with one L was back on WMEX this afternoon, blathering along like she always does. Just before 5:30, she had a "Michele McPhee meltdown." Don't worry: State Police were not involved. She melted down because Caitlyn Jenner is getting some sort of award.

UPDATE: Just before she went off the air at 6 p.m. (don't worry: Her sister was in the studio to give her a ride), she said she can't talk about what happened the other night but that she is "100% confident that when the truth comes out, you'll understand why I have such unrelenting, unwavering support from so many people across the city."

So a radio host gets a DUI and attacks a police officer and WMEX doesn't even suspend her?

Suspend her why? I didn't realize that private businesses were obligated to punish individuals above and beyond what the justice system doles out.

You think a radio station that features the vocal stylings of McPhee and that moron Joe Lygotti wouldn't jump on the fifteen minutes of ratings she'll receive over this?

Why Gaffin and I alone listening today probably raised their ratings a tenth of a point, if MEX could afford to subscribe to a ratings service.

C'mon, Joe Ligotti is a good guy...never takes himself too seriously, and would do anything for you.

to have him calling himself "the guy from Boston".He's a waddling advertisement for our wonderful medical facilities, I'll give him that.

I've always thought of him as a failed Sopranos character that somehow came to life. Maybe a puddle of capicola grease got zapped by lightning and The Guy From Boston was created?

Why would anyone care about either person and who listens to AM radio to know what was said because you've not?

Michele McPhee! Looks like a lunch lady, sounds like a mating between the Aflac duck and Baby Snooks? Made her career as a cop groupie, then assaults two of them when caught driving drunk?

We all know your a Jenner fiend Adam. No need to find stories to show off how much all of your klan love Bruce Jenner. We get it..

Just how deeply my love for the Jenners goes ...

Getting caught drunk driving invalidates all opinions a person has about everything.

It's good to know blah blah blah!!!!

Especially when this "person" has made a career out her zero tolerance for offenders and her being almost a Judge in terms of trying people in the media.

So, yes.

So far we have one side of the story.....what the officer said she said and did.

So, no.

Let's see....well known right wing idiot who prides herself on her unabashed support for LEO's gets pulled over while drunk and refuses breathalyzer and screams for the arresting officer to call a superior so she can walk. Then ends up assaulting two of those same officers she purports to lionize.

Nope, never heard that story before, no sir, not me.

Michelle McPhee never would.

Now we have both sides. She pled not guilty. Of course she's not guilty!!!

In the sphincter of the City and State PD for 30 years, and the PD doesn't even offer a pat on the head and a "good job Michele" after shes done, you can't help but laugh at the pathetic-ness of it.

Especially when Michele would be the first person herself to label somebody else a perp and dirt-bag.

Note to others: When dropping names at a traffic stop, avoid mentioning the Colonel or the Chief. In most cases, the hardworking trooper/officer on the street doesn't fit-in with the Chief. Otherwise he wouldn't be working the road. The motorist would be far better off mentioning the cop who lives down the street or the cop whose kid attends the same school as their kid. The arresting officer likely has little interaction with the Chief, but probably sits at roll-call with the cop who lives in the neighborhood.

Whenever "I'm friends with the Chief" was mentioned, I would always write the highest ticket possible, even doing a circle-check for bald tires, obstructed view (anything hanging from the rear view mirror) etc. We called it "The Power of the Papermate." When "I'm friends with Officer McCarthy" was mentioned, it would usually be, "keep your foot off the gas pedal and tell McCarthy I said hello" verbal warning.

In a (albeit fictional) spy novel I once read, the main character discussed this very matter, about how name dropping of a person of authority alone does not have a useful effect, for all the person you are challenging knows, you are lying. You'd need to say something immediately believable and verifiable that would suggest you not only know the person of higher authority, but that your relationship with them leads you to have influence over that person in such a way that something bad happening to you would find its way back to the person you are challenging.

So, Michelle McPhee swears she'll be vindicated? That's what most criminals say when they get busted, and feel the remorse and embarrassment.

Michelle McPhee, not long ago accused ME of being a name dropper. This is so funny and ironic to me.

Now SHE is a criminal. There will be a video of the arrest, the assault, the drunken speech, etc.

Michelle, can you live up to your outspoken convictions, that criminals should be punished?

It sort of does when, like Michele, you base your career bashing people who get caught doing a lot less than DUI. And that's without assaulting a cop, which she also did. And she resisted arrest. And she pulled, "DON"T YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!?!?!?" Seriously, how are you not picking up on this?

Getting caught drunk driving invalidates all opinions a person has about everything.

No, it doesn't, but being a privileged hypocrite who apparently thinks that the law applies to everyone but herself and tries to use her privilege as a media personality to get out of allegedly breaking said laws certainly does.

she will be vindicated

The truth regarding the fact that her LEO "contacts" are running from her like she was IAD in a bad mood?

Or the truth that she's a hypocritical scumbag who obviously thinks she's better than any other offender she's tried in the media?

Or the truth that she is thankfully done in this town?

"unrelenting, unwavering support from so many people across the city"

Yeah, that's right up there with someone being taken to task for being a dumbass online mentioning all of his or her supporters in email. No one is fooled.

McPhee did not take one call in the two hours I could stomach listening to before wanting to kill myself from the stupidity. I imagine this was due to the shellacking she received in the comments in her beloved Herald and on her FB page (before she started deleting).

Probably didn't want to hear people calling out her blatant hypocrisy.
