Police: Officers following suspect in Red Line groping spotted him groping on the Orange Line

GustinTransit Police report arresting a Saugus man on charges he indecently touched two women on two different subway lines.

According to police, William Gustin, 29, indecently assaulted a woman on the Red Line between Central and Kendall around 6 p.m. on Aug. 19. This morning, around 7 a.m., police say, detectives had their eye on Gustin on an inbound Orange Line train approaching North Station, when they saw Gustin put unspecified moves on another woman.

Gustin was promptly arrested and charged with two counts of indecent assault and battery, which he is scheduled to answer in Cambridge District Court and Boston Municipal Court.

But otherwise released on personal recognizance on the Orange Line charge, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports, adding he was then shipped to Cambridge for arraignment there.
