Barber-shop owner stabbed to death on Adams Street in Dorchester

Dwyer

WCVB reports a man was found stabbed to death around 6:30 p.m. on Friday on Adams Street, near Pierce Street.

The Dorchester Reporter identifies him as Sean Dwyer, owner of the Clover City Unisex Barber Shop.

His body, in the middle of the road, was first spotted by passengers on an MBTA bus and police at first thought he had been hit by the bus.

In e-mail to residents, police said the man owned the barbershop. They are looking for any witnesses who might have seen what happened.

Boston.com screwed up and blamed the poor bus driver who stopped to help this poor soul. The Globe is slipping since John Henry took over

Even the police initially thought the man had been hit by the bus (hover over the WCVB link and look at the URL).

The Boston Globe is no longer connected in any way to boston.com, except that Henry owns them both. Those are its own feet that B.c keeps tripping over.

Sean was a hardworking young man who was trying to create a better life for himself with his own business. I am so sorry to hear the kind of violence he tried to escape brought an end to his life. My heart goes out to his family and friends . God rest soul.

Such a senseless act that a 29 year old boy gets stabbed to death. My son has to deal with a tragic death again after loosing his brother just 2 years ago.

I just am shocked that this sort of crime still takes place today and with all the technology and video no one saw anything! I wonder about society as a whole if he was a rich kid from Concord would we know who toke this mans life? Or is it the politics of this very corrupted City of Boston?? He leaves behind a family!!! It's crazy how life goes on but I know these people personally and their still struggling everyday to get out of bed! Someone should start a bullshit boston fund and we all pay for the truth! Listen we have a past but justice should be served no matter what I was, who I know, or who helped kill me family??? I don't know maybe fact maybe fiction but this story has been kept under wraps why? BPD TAKING CARE OF THEIR OWN?

Hindsight is 20/20 but the arrest was made yesterday after a lengthy investigation. As it turns out it was not a BPD cover up, but was an act of someone the victim knew. Maybe you knew him too? Maybe you saw him between December and August and had no idea. Friend cover up?

Also, learn to use the right their/they're/there.
