Ah well. At least the T is ready for the winter.

You ain't seen nothin' yet.

Knowing the history of the T, their method of repairing all those broken-down RL trains last winter was probably to just do the bare minimum to get them moving again (as in, duct tape and baling twine holding them together), and for the past six months said trains, so long as they stayed moving, have not had one bit of further maintenance done to them.

The whole system will probably fall apart this year worse than it did during last year's mess, but this time at the slightest hint of snow. But at least the third rails will be nice and warm.

It wasn't my fault!

My irritable wife Autumn wasn't feeling appreciated by you people and had to make the grievance known.

Maybe the MBTA should just announce when things are going on time.

Last Winter was a nightmare for the Braintree branch. I hope this winter will be better. They should definitely have a better plan in place for shuttle busses. It can't be like last year when everyone tries to get on @ same time..

Last winter they were using so many buses to shuttle the red line (and a lot of them got snow damaged too) that they couldn't actually run the bus routes. I know that they have limited resources and try to focus them on where they're most needed, but it seems like bus riders are just an afterthought and any time something goes wrong on the other lines no one thinks twice about leaving people stranded in the snow for hours. There aren't any great solutions, but maybe in addition to "snow routes" they should release "snow schedules" so people can at least plan in advance.
