Man shot repeatedly in South Boston, dies

Update: Two arraigned for murder of Maurice Scott.

Stanley Staco reports a man was shot repeatedly around 8:30 p.m.

Boston Police report the man, found at 425 Old Colony Ave., was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police add:

A short time later, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) located a motor vehicle matching the given description in the area of Elm Street. Officers were able to place three male suspects in custody in connection to the incident. Officers also recovered a firearm which they believe was used in the crime. The investigation remains active and charges have not been formally announced.
