Gullible reporter thinks one good tern deserves another, but in a pinch, a bunny will do

Rabbit and tern in Boston's Back Bay

SteveBikes spotted this rabbit and young seagull giving each other the eye outside the Boston Athletic Club in South Boston.

UPDATE: As people are telling this bird-agnostic reporter, that's an immature gull, not a tern, so the headline's been adjusted accordingly. And thanks to Earl for the original headline idea.

"outside the Boston Architectural College in the Back Bay."

It was actually the Boston Athletic Club in Southie. Common gull hangout but this is the first time I've seen a rabbit.

I once got bit by a rabbit.

But, I can't tell you about it because it's not my tern.

The headline is awesome. I am trying to get a grip on myself about the fact that it is killing me that the bird is not actually a tern... I know I have problems.

Because aren't adult seagulls basically white?

probably came from a nest on one of the outer islands earlier this summer. Gulls take three or four years to reach adulthood - until then they have various amounts of scruffy brown.
