Shaun Harrison, a former counselor at English High School had been scheduled to go on trial Oct. 17 on charges he shot a student in the head for not selling enough of Harrison's marijuana.
But after firing his lawyer, a judge yesterday agreed to give him more time so his new lawyer can get up to speed on the case, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
A new trial has yet to be set for Harrison, who moved to English from a Brighton school, where he led anger-management classes.
Innocent, etc.

He might have shot a student
But at least he wasn't racially insensitive about it.
There are people that put this predator in the position
he held. Those folks happen to also be leading advocates of blowing up Boston's exam schools. The free pass given is astonishing.
He came from a charter
shortly before this incident occurred, according to one of the earlier uhub articles linked.
The whole thing's off the charts fucked up
That point is not helpful to the education
corporatists.
