Riders on both Green and Red left with a feeling of dread

A train is so dead between Braintree and Quincy Adams that the T is now running shuttle buses. On the Green Line, meanwhile, an E trolley has expired at Government Center.

Any companies thinking of relocating here should pay attention to the unreliability of our transit system and the current administrations disdain for and lack of interest in making it work better today and in the future. It will take GE level welfare to get companies to move here with a stripped down, ever more expensive transit system that breaks daily.

They'll just use private buses for their employees, like companies in San Francisco and Silicon Valley do.

Private bus systems currently in use in Boston by Partners Health care as well as BU and MIT, probably others as well. Of course their primary constituencies are students, and\or patients but some employees a!so use them. I don't know what kind of regulatory process exists for adding a new system.

It's just like how companies are fleeing the Washington DC and San Francisco Bay areas due to their rail systems falling apart.

The parking lot is full, MBTA suv's parking in drop off pick up and handicapped spots. Buses and cabs backing up and passengers risking life and limb trying to navigate crosswalks. My question is why can't all the employees standing around with vests on assist passengers crossing in front of traffic. If the invisible Transit Police won't direct traffic at the station then the Braintree or MSP should be called to straighten out the mess.
