Police looking for man they say threatened a woman with a knife on the Orange Line at Stony Brook

Wanted for assault with a knife in Jamaica Plain

Transit Police report they are looking for a man involved in an incident on an Orange Line train that had pulled into Stony Brook station around 5:30 p.m. on March 27.

The male subject threatened to kill, without provocation a female passenger. The male subject and the victim are unknown to each other.

If he looks familiar, contact detectives at 617-222-1050 or text an anonymous tip to 873873.

Look up and look around. See how many cameras you can count. They may not have video of the incident itself (happened on a train, the police say), but I suspect they had video they could show the victim for ID purposes pretty quickly.

Nothing scarier than riding an orange line train and having the doors close and staring at a smiling droog with a large knife. I hope the victim recovers from this traumatic T story.
