Pulse survivors in Boston Pride parade

Alyssa Banker Hiller was one of the tens of thousands of people who either marched in or watched the annual Pride parade today. She spotted the float with survivors of the Pulse terrorist attack.

I think three hours went by between the beginning and end of the parade, from where I watched in front of Arlington Street Church.

I was filming it with a production crew and the running time came to a little over 3 hours, the video crew said the only parade that was as long was the Columbus Day Parade in East Boston.

It was very long this year, but it has been Boston's largest parade for years, in terms of # of participants.

An amazing day!

I hope that the progress that the gay community has made in my lifetime will be sustained, and expanded, to the point where nobody anywhere in this country is made to feel like a pariah or an outlaw for who they came into this world as and who they are naturally attracted to. A lot has been accomplished, yet there is still a lot of work to be done...

Amen

"...the float with survivors of the Pulse terrorist attack."

Such a tragedy. I'm pleased to see the survivors were well-represented yesterday.

And, for their own sake and the sake of the LGBTQ folks everywhere, I hope that they are taking appropriate classes. Example: http://www.wesh.com/article/lgbtq-gun-rights-group-teaching-classes-in-o...

That there were several people in that venue who were armed, right?

No, I didn't. Citation, please.

That's what we need is an army of armed people in public places so the next time everyone just pulls out a gun and starts shooting at the shooters.

Ohhh..... wait....

Right. Because none of these folks will have any real TRAINING. Got it.

Army training sir!

So 100 people walk into a bar. They all pull out guns. Now tell me how you train someone to pick out the bad guy.

What a moronic comment.
