If you lined up every bus in Boston, what would you get?

Poor Planning Produces
Results just like this.
I will once again note that this project showed no concern for buses or bus riders. And honestly, I'm willing to bet that the sidewalks on the permanent busway will be too narrow, meaning that speedsters like me will be fuming trying to get to the train, having to do things like pass people waiting to get on buses.
Designed for the housing across the street
A quarter mile walking FU to anyone who transfers bus/rail for the benefit of a couple houses.
Transit will always get fked by politics...
If you want something good that makes sense, show up early and often...
Please don't exaggerate.
Please don't exaggerate.
I'm not happy about the extra walking either. But a quarter mile from the building exit puts you all the way past Harvest Co-op.
End of rush hour bus parade
The conga line of buses entering the upper busway are likely the end of rush hour buses that go out of service to return to Arborway garage.
Yes, I believe the current upper busway configuration for some people does not work. I take the Route 38 bus (and sometimes the 35/36/37 on weekends) and depending on the time of day, it isn't too bad...but some of the observations I have (and some others might also) are...
- The Route 34/34E/35/36/37/40 berth is very narrow: it's choking movement and all but encourages overcrowding and frustration.
- Route 30/38/50/51 berth is wider, but when drivers layover for an extended time, it chokes up Route 39 buses, who can't pass through to get to the front of the station.
Still all temporary
All of the bus berths on the Washington St side remain temporary. One whole busway is still under construction and occupied by construction crews and materials. None of it is permanent. Hey... just wait till they start to build the roof.
Of course
It looks like the lanes for the buses and walkways will be wider than they are now, once everything is finished.
I'm still not happy that the
I'm still not happy that the 39 lost the north busway. What was the reason for that again?
New Arborway road alignment, new Orange Line entrance

Where are the Transit Police?
I know there is a traffic light but they should be out there directing traffic and helping the bus drivers.
Agreed.
I primarily bike commute through the various Forest Hills intersections during the week, but nights and weekends when I do drive, each and every one of the intersections is a wild-west-anything-goes. If the police simply enforced the laws on book for a couple of months straight, they'd probably make tons of ticket revenue, and train people who drive through these intersections to drive in a more civil manner.
And what's up with people blocking half a travel lane, including area shuttle-vans, immediately right from Ukraine? There are designated pull-out areas now and that's not one of them.
Just deploy a whole platoon of bike cops in the area every day with ticket books and let 'em write!
As to Ye olde kiss and ride
There is no signage on Washington Street north of Ukraine Way noting it is no longer the drop off/pick up area, nothing directing people to the new location, and no signs saying one can’t park there.
