By now, of course, we all realize Mr. Carlson was right, right?

Turkey on a ledge

David Schachner looked out his office window, on the fifth floor of 359 Newbury St., shortly after 1 p.m. and came face to face with a turkey.

He reports that the turkey has since hit the ground like a sack of wet cement flown away.

if the turkey were picked up and dropped off that building, they would be far less likely to fly away.

This Back Bay is afraid of us. We have seen its true face.

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of dog waste and when the drains finally scab over, all the hipsters will drown.

The accumulated filth of all their latte and froyo cups will foam up about their waists and all the yuppies and trustafarians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and we'll look down and gobble "No”

The TLF seems to be well versed in literature of all forms. Sometimes literally.

I was once attacked by a flying turkey during my morning run. It flew off the porch roof of a house as I passed and came within inches of landing on me. The sound of those flapping wings is something I won't soon forget. Definitely my scariest wildlife encounter and I've come across coyotes.

It's from some obviously violent video game. Great with audio.
