Man stomped in Central Square

Cambridge Police report arresting Shawn Marcinowski, 45, of Malden, for allegedly beating up another man shortly on Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square shortly before 1 p.m. on Monday.

Marcinowski allegedly struck the victim multiple times in the face and then kicked him in the face after he fell to the ground. The victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

He was charged with assault and battery on a person over 60, police say.
