How does a tortoise get out of an apartment building...
Sounds fishy to me, like it was a dumped pet that shouldn't go back to owner.

If that was true, then why was the tortoise wondering Allston looking for its owner to return to?

The tortoise wouldn't want to return to someone who didn't want him or her.

‘You ought to be ashamed of yourself for asking such a simple question,’ added the Gryphon;

Not sure if it was the original tweet or the post on the site here, but the photo of my flier made it to the owner and the tortoise is back at home! It escaped from a backyard enclosure, and I didn't post a pic as I was worried about getting calls looking to steal a free tortoise, which I did get unfortunately. But the tort is back at home, so thanks!
