There are certain job sectors that are so so underappreciated and taken for granted at times. Taken for granted until you need them. Underappreciated, because you don't randomly say thank you for your work. How many citizens just randomly write the local fire department or first responders telling them how much you appreciating the work they do, Pat them on back or shook there hands. It's ok to do so.

Being servant to humanity is thankless, but it's not done for the thanks but for the love of the job. The primary Foundation to servitude is to do it from the heart. However it certainly doesn't hurt to get a thank you from time to time.
I certainly hope that all the residents of this house fire all safe and currently secure. Sorry that you lost your home.
To all the responders who responded 2 this house fire and I saw you guys responding,,
thank you for your work.

But let’s not lose sight of the fact they are in one of only a few lines of work that draw groupies. Swooning, fawning groupies. If you don’t believe me just ask the nurse crew at a level 1 trauma center. I’m all for first responders getting some attention. Just saying.
