Smoke but no fire at Downtown Crossing T station

A large contingent of Boston firefighters went down into the Downtown Crossing T stop to investigate an odor of smoke near the CharlieCard store around 10 p.m. They returned to the surface and their firehouses after determining the odor to be the remains of a heavy pot-smoking session, but not a fire.

Have you been in Downtown Crossing lately. It's practically an unauthorized homeless shelter. Grown men and women live in those warrens. Sometimes Pot is the only thing keeping them stable.

The wide stairways from the red line to this corridor have become de facto bathrooms and pot smoking areas.

I've seen more dong whipped out there than I did the last time I went to a (male) strip club. No joke

Even worse after they added the elevators so now there's an alcove to stand aside so people walking down the hallway can't see your junk

Things like this just contribute (not to say it's the only or biggest factor) to the overall sentiment that many people have against taking public transportation. It's simply not a good experience.

Where they emptied the shelves of fritos, cheetos, white castles, Ben & Jerry's and marshmellow fluff.

Nothing to see here folks, move along move along...

Recently there was a disgusting x-rated video shown on Boston World Star and Turtleboy that took advantage of a poor homeless woman of color. The odor of pot tops the smell of urine any day.
