Orange and Green Lines were kind of a fail due to trains that were somewhat less than hale

A Green Line trolley near Boylston and an Orange Line train somewhere on the tracks both suffered embarrassing mechanical problems around the same time this morning, causing delays on the two lines, but the MBTA says everything's back to being hunky dory.

Does anyone have an updated timeline on the roll-out of the new rolling stock?

it's time to stop thinking about this in terms of human lifespans. Just as the continents were one landmass relatively recently, geologically speaking, the fact that someone might get to ride a new working Orange Line train before the death of our Sun should probably be considered a victory

The heat death of the universe should only be used as a milestone, not a hard deadline.

10106 years if you're curious.

Just being realistic. The fed tariffs are going to generate some big delays

I was on the Orange Line this morning with a British guy who held the record for taking the T to every station in the least amount of time. He was trying to beat the record this morning. I'm guessing he wasn't happy about these delays and thinks that American public transportation is an embarrassment compared to Europe(thanks Car Culture!).

You're guessing? You're guessing? You didn't even engage with the guy on the difference in transport between the US and UK? That was a wasted conversation, if you ask me.

BTW, they have delays on public transport in the UK, too.

Do you have a notebook with your next possible rhymes already locked in, or do you have to extemporaneously come up with verses of curses for trains in pain.
