Police: Crack dealer was storing gun, ammo, drugs in his apartment behind the E-13 station

Boston Police report that after arresting a man on drug charges at Lamartine Street and Cerina Road in Jamaica Plain yesterday, officers obtained a search warrant and found more drugs, a gun, ammunition and cash in his apartment on Greenley Place, a couple doors down from the E-13 station.

Police say they and the DEA had had their eye on Apahlo Sullivan, 23, for awhile now; officers from E-13 and E-5, with DEA agents along, arrested him around 11:20 a.m. at Lamartine and Cerina and confiscated roughly 2.2 grams of crack and 0.7 grams of Fentanyl. Armed with a search warrant, they then went into his home around 4:45 p.m. and, police say, found a 9-mm Springfield Armory xp9 semi-automatic firearm loaded with eight rounds of live ammunition, 45 shotgun shells, 28 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition, approximately 58 grams of Fentanyl and approximately 27 grams of crack, along with cash.

Sullivan was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, trafficking more than 36 grams of Class A drugs, trafficking more than 18 grams of Class B drugs, distribution of Class B drugs and several counts of distribution of Class A drugs, police say.

Innocent, etc.

Because I was curious I looked it up.
0.7 grams of Fentanyl he had on him is enough to kill 700,000 people.
The 58 in the house, 58,000,000 people.
That alone, not even including the guns, makes this person super dangerous.

"unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, trafficking more than 36 grams of Class A drugs, trafficking more than 18 grams of Class B drugs, distribution of Class B drugs and several counts of distribution of Class A drugs"...

All of those charges + this is Massachusetts = this guy will be re-offending in no time.

Only 23, remember the name of young Mr. Sullivan - he has a bright criminal career ahead of him.

And the best goes on.

Hopefully he can change his life and use his time to become a better man and make wiser choices. Hopefully, use those merchant and business skills to a positive use.

It is demand that drives the market. Regulate and tax is the solution. The U.S. census used to tabulate Heroin usage when it was still on the shelves and freely available from 1820 on. Prohibition did nothing to change the usage rate which has stayed at a constant 1%. When Portugal de-criminalized all drugs in 2001 the result was an 80% drop in crime. Even the Police are now on board in Portugal.
