Good news for JP bank fans

Jamaica Plain News reports that the corner spot at Centre and Burroughs streets vacated when Bukhara decamped for distant Forest Hills will be turned into a Chase bank branch by the end of October. The move will ease the critical bank shortage caused a couple years ago when Caffe Nero replaced a Commonwalth Bank branch down the street from the location.

So lame and disappointing. There is also a bank going in at 3525 Washington street. Who still goes to banks? Time travelers from the 1970s who haven't heard of the internet yet?

In case one of the other 5 bank branches within a 2 minute walking radius weren't enough
