Same old refrain: Dead Orange Line train

The MBTA is reporting Orange Line delays of up to ten minutes due to a train that left this mortal coil at Tufts.

At this point, I think we need to declare a state of emergency and have the National Guard take over the MBTA. I’m not joking. It’s dangerous out there due to overcrowding and ice mixed with anger. Gov. Baker is not taking this seriously enough.

No wonder you can't find Transit workers and Transit cops on the platforms and trains.

We can’t get anywhere on time any more but at least we’re so stoned that we no longer care.

Magoo proposed renaming all train lines the color zigglewortbumble. In the tongue of the ancient Zebulites, zigglewortbumble is a darkish poo poo color that also means “decrepit craggy nose with hairs growing out of it”. Magoo.

Since about September it's taken me at least 70 minutes to get from Roslindale to Downtown. I had to abandon the 32 bus because it's full by the time it gets to my stop. So I added on a walk to another bus line, and by the time I get to Forest Hills the orange line is delayed. Every day. What is going on?? The T has always been bad but lately it has me thinking about moving out of the city.

I've lived in the area for 25 years and I have always relied on the T to get to work. And it was until 2014, that's when things got really bad on the T. I believe that Gov. Baker is trying, but the money and the projects aren't working. It's not getting better in a consistent way and I can't wait 10 years for it to get better. My patience wore out on Wednesday. I'm starting to look for jobs within walking distance to my house.

The state has taken the T for granted for many years, coasting along largely on the long tail of long-ago maintenance and a constant "I'm sure it'll be fine" shrug of the shoulders. We've now crossed some critical inflection points of population, designed capacity, and deferred maintenance, all within the past five years really, and our luck has run out. We demand nothing of our elected officials and we're getting exactly what we ask for.

Yes that is correct it's not just you that feels that way several people are really considering leaving Boston because it has a very poor Transit System.
