Schools, libraries, museums, city halls all closing, but thank God we can all still gamble

All around the Encore casino (like the city of Everett), everything's shutting down to Covid-19. Thank goodness, the casino has thermometer guns to point at incoming customers, so they can keep the money rolling in, even if they have to shut down the buffets and shows.

A shame they didn't have those in place the other day when a Utah Jazz player who turned out to be infected (no, not the microphone toucher, the other one) rolled in for a little of that famed Everett hospitality.

If every major museum, concert hall, college, university, and sports arena in the Commonwealth has to close down, why does Encore get to stay open?

Close it down now.

Close it down now.

Those museums, concert halls, colleges, etc. did not have to shut down, they chose to shut down.

(I think that Encore ought to make the same choice; I'm just pointing out that your word choice is somewhat misleading here)

With sports gambling gone where else can I gamble? By next week I will be playing three card monte at Downtown Crossing and wagering on who can jump the highest over the fare gates.
