Hotel Commonwealth shuts tomorrow; joins growing list of shuttered Boston hotels

The Hotel Commonwealth in Kenmore Square says it will close tomorrow with the hopes of re-opening May 2, "though this is subject to change."

At least six other Boston hotels have closed due to a Covid-19 health issues and the related collapse of the travel business.

hotels in the vicinity of hospitals should be made available for the medical professionals so they don't have to commute or expose their families.
