Citizen complaint of the day: Yo no quiero Taco Gull

Gulls enjoying a feast outside the Taco Bell in downtown Boston

A disgusted citizen filed a 311 report about the gull buffet outside the Summer Street Taco Bell this morning.

Taco Bell trash being picked apart by seagulls and blowing up and down Summer St AGAIN.

Note the "AGAIN," because yesterday, somebody (the same disgusted citizen?) filed a similar complaint about the bag-ripping gulls.

The streets are getting dirtier. There is no street cleaning going on in Brighton that I have seen, and it seems that people are doing less picking up on their own. I think it may be that if you are inside all day, you aren't grabbing that stray item that flew out of someone's recycling bin. All the closed businesses add to it, even in less waste is generated due to less foot and car traffic.

ISD should be on them they should be using sealed containers - REQUIRED for restaurants.

...I tend to think you're not touching anyone else's stray items these days.

Probably the cleanest I’ve ever seen it in fact.

Yes

This must be at least the third time, since yesterday's complaint reads: "Seagulls having Taco Bell trash for breakfast. AGAIN."

.... could have been composted. So it went into the gull’s gizzards instead of the landfill. Almost like composting.

This is why the good lord invented dumpsters

I thought restaurants had to use dumpsters. What in the world would make them think they could put their bags out on the street like this?

Do they have a rookie closing evenings or something?
