Man in serious condition after being stomped at Cambridge and Blossom streets; suspect arrested

Boston Police report arresting Darwin May, 60, on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon - his shod foot - after he allegedly repeatedly kicked a man in the head around 8:35 p.m. on Friday, a couple blocks from the Massachusetts General Hospital emergency room.

May remained at the scene even as EMTs loaded his victim into an ambulance and BPD officers arrived, police say. The victim is in serious but stable condition, police say.

Innocent, etc.

The homeless are being victimized on the streets and subways. There has to be a better way to help them find safe spaces in downtown Boston.

60 seems a little old to be kicking people in the head. If dude hasn't learned by now, it ain't going to happen.
