DA Rachel Rollins’ strategy of disregarding certain crimes appears to be working wonders.

between your smear of Rollins and this case? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Please point me to the inside information you have linking anyone involved in this to any crime that was not prosecuted under Rollins but would have been prosecuted under previous DAs. I'll wait with bated breath.

Boston has its fewest homicides since 2001 last year. Crime is down since DA Rollins took over.

Look at 2020, not 2019.

The wildly exaggerated Covid scare was used by liberal prosecutors and judges to release the guilty and lockdown the innocent. Most active duty police are forbidden from speaking publicly but privately they have warned loved ones to avoid Suffolk and parts of Middlesex County because of the daily lists being circulated of extremely violent, convicted felons being released to the streets. I know one local Detective Sergeant who has moved his family to the Cape for now, which is only slightly better. These abruptly freed inmates have little or no supervision and the courts who would handle probation/parole are still mostly closed so new arrests aren't being processed normally. What did they expect would happen, good behavior?

If your boy Trump had been doing his job from the get-go, we would not have to suffer reading more of such idiotic drivel.

A lot of conjecture.

You know like that last time that you made unfounded racist dog whistle comments on the story of a murdered BLS alum?

Which suspects specifically were "covid releated releases"? Or are you just making it up as you go along like your idol the orange orangutan?

If you find a source that links this incident directly to the releases please reply with a link. Also will need a source on the police officer tale. Otherwise your post per usual will be viewed as irrelevant and strictly opinion.

I heard Commissioner Gross on the radio express his frustration with the violence. He went on to mention that people should remember this when election time comes around.
I'm curious why these remarks aren't getting more coverage? I happen to think that Commissioner Gross and the Boston Police are doing a great job despite the increased acts of violence. They need the cooperation of residents to go after these guys who are threatening everyone's safety.

He went on to mention that people should remember this when election time comes around.

What's his point here? Does he feel like the BPD is being hampered by politicians? If so, which ones, and why? Sounds like a lot of finger-pointing to me.

It's not the community's job to cooperate with cops. But it is the police's job to serve and. Maybe more citizens will start helping the police when they decide to cross their thin blue line gang members. Because if the cop's won't snitch on each other, how can you expect citizens to snitch on each other?

1) Violence, shootings are headed towards the bad old days pre-gentrification.

2) Our economy isn't collapsing; it's collapsed period. Small businesses especially are being crushed.

3) People are anxious, paranoid, isolated, depressed.

Two and a half months. It's a wake up call telling us it doesn't take much for society to collapse. We're only in the beginning stages of this economic disaster and societal collapse. Better hope cops, EMTs, firefighters still show up and perform their jobs.

Who benefits $ wise from this collapse? Those with deep pockets who'll be able to consolidate and buy up property, businesses, stock at pennies on the $.

Pre-gentrification? What does gentrification have to do with any of this? This is a report of a tragic murder.
