Purple and gold Bunker Hill Monument

The National Park Service lit up the Bunker Hill Monument in purple and gold last night to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment.

There were a bunch of people who didn't like the state naming a bridge built by the state and federally funded after Zakim.

I guess they preferred The Victims of the Code of Silence Memorial Bridge?

Perhaps, they should wait until #2065 for this celebration. The 19th Amendment did not grant all American women the right to vote.
