Greenway beer garden opens for first time this year

Trillium Brewing announced this morning it's re-opening its beer garden on the Rose Kennedy Greenway at High Street, starting at noon today.

The beer garden had been scheduled to open for the season earlier this year, but, well, you know.

It will now be open noon to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays - weather permitting.

People looking to quaff a brew will have to also order food from one of three food trucks at the site, under state Covid-19 regulations. The beer garden will also have social-distancing measures in place and both food and beer will be available through contactless ordering. Reservations for tables of up to six people are available online.

Hopefully they keep it open later in the fall this year. Seems silly to close it after just a month.

Other than the odd hurricane or superstorm, we can expect it to be dry and relatively warm well into the fall.

This may be the year when the concept of outdoor things gets pushed later in the year like it should have a while ago.

Are they reopening the beer garden at the Landmark center to on-site consumption?
