My son signed a lease for June 1, and didn't have a lot of competition for the place he secured.

Except the realtor had a lot of July 1 interest in the place.

Kids that my son grew up with are finding an August or September 1 move in to exist only in the realm of unicorns.

Anyone who waited to July or August is already in an undergraduate housing scrum. Some current tenants are willing to negotiate to leave a month early if someone will take the place early.

Not too many worms left this morning. Rebooting the real estate market will be odd.

Pick up anything off the street that you can’t bleach the beejeezus out of.

Or fumigate.

I have held trashpicked pieces in my garage in freezing weather to ensure that nothing hatches or feeds.

Has to be a true gem before that becomes reasonable.

claim the live band? If so, I hope they didn’t subject them to the treatment recommended above. Though Bleached Sofa would make a good name for a band.

Sure, adopting a live band may seem like a good idea now, but wait til September when the kids are in school and people go back to work in their offices and suddenly the shelters will be filled with all these live Covid bands.

I just saw a huge display of Alston Christmas candy at CVS.

Now I am imagining what Allston Christmas candy looks like. Extra stabby candy canes in garage band colors maybe?

Allston Christmas candy tastes like Necco Wafers, but worse. Probably just like eating chalk.

Places like Uline have them.

Every time there’s even a hint of snow in the forecast, he’s got a half dozen out to mark “his” parking spots.
