Man shot repeatedly on West 7th Street in South Boston

Live Boston reports a man was shot several times shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at West 7th Street and Joyce Hayes Way in the West Broadway development in South Boston. The victim was taken away in critical condition but is expected to survive.
A suspect was arrested in a car in the area of Savin Hill in Dorchester.

We heard about ten shots fired. Very quick. This isn't the first time this has happened in that area. It's not the first time for it to occur that early either.
