This was a pretty hot topic of conversation at the last Fields Corner Civic Association monthly meeting. In this case the DA's office seems to have adopted prosecution standards that are even more lax than those set by Rollins. Rollins' proposal didn't exempt people who cause serious damages from prosecution.

Representatives of the DA's office have been invited to the next Fields Corner Civic monthly meeting and said that they will be coming. We are hoping that they will provide some good explanation about what they are doing -if anything- to keep repeat offenders from doing serious arm to the community. In some cases the pendulum has swung too far.
