What tha? Big blow brings down trees and wires, floods streets, but at least gives us a nice rainbow

Double rainbow over Pleasure Bay in South Boston

It didn't last long, but a wind-heavy storm brought down trees and power lines in Hyde Park and Roslindale and turned Truman Parkway by the Hyde Park Stop & Shop into a lake.

But after it was all done, Pleasure Bay in South Boston got a double rainbow, as photographed by David Geller.

The storm was spotty: While Hyde Park and Roslindale got splattered, it stayed sunny in Brookline. Central Square in Cambridge also remained dry although you could hear a clap of thunder there.
