Two teens arrested for shooting on Greenville Street in Roxbury

Boston Police report arresting a 17-year-old male from Dorchester and a 16-year-old from Roxbury for a non-fatal shooting at 12 Greenville St., off Dudley Street, around 5:15 p.m. on May 21.
Their names were not released because of their age. Police say their investigation is continuing.

Might it be time to revisit the definition of "juvenile"?
Not sure if it would make much difference, but I wonder if violent 16- and 17-year-olds should get be getting special consideration. No idea about the two suspects in this case, but in general, is it fair to say that today's juveniles are a lot "older" than when the legal definitions were set?
