Four Covid screamers detained outside mayor's house this morning

Note: Story updated with fourth arrest info.

Catherine Vitale, Shannon Llewellyn and Danielle Mazzeo, who showed up outside the mayor's house in Roslindale around 7:30 a.m. to bang on buckets and yell, were all charged with "targeted residential picketing" in violation of a city ordinance that bans standing outside somebody's house and screaming before 9 in the morning.

A fourth bucket banger, Marie Brady, was charged with disturbing the peace, court records show.

A neighbor reports they were handcuffed and driven away.

The cases were "filed" in West Roxbury Municipal Court, court records show.

Llewellyn was arrested on a similar charge outside the mayor's house in April, not long after the City Council passed the picketing ordinance.

Vitale was arrested at City Hall on a charge of assault on a police officer on April 13 after trying to bring a bullhorn into City Hall to yell at Wu over Covid-19 issues during a press conference on Marathon safety in April.

He dumped hundreds of thousands of money into the AEG campaign and hired that disgraced former cop to be his sock puppet - why wouldn't he keep up his investment against Mayor Wu?

Don't buy New Balance.

To what end though? What commercial or civic purpose is served by making life terrible for the Mayor? I don't see the upside.

Davis has contributed a ton to local charities, and doesn't deserve this anonymous libel.

You need to consider your reality if you think supporting AEG, a liberal Democrat, is akin to fascism.

Not so sure if I'll buy New Balance shoes again, but this sounds far more like Shiva funding than anything more sane.

Let’s all yell for joy in celebration of July 4. Sheesh. These loser McLosers need to get a job or something. There is a labor shortage so not like there are none available.

Well, if the four people in question who stood outside Mayor Wu's house at 7:30 in the morning yelling and screaming in protest do have jobs, and they do get arrested for doing that, they deserve to lose their jobs. No sympathy for these idiots from me!

to pick out my favorite part. Is it the part where she's shared this publicly so that the entire world can watch video of her dumb ass breaking the law and then arguing with the cops? Is it Final Boss Karen in full regalia and sunglasses throwing a tantrum as the cuffs go on? Or is it the fact that every one of these yokels spells it "ordnance"?

Figures, she's a "Dr Shiva" fan. How convenient to the rest of us, that all the wackos label themselves for us.

Are any Covid mandates currently in force in Boston at all?

People who were fired haven't been reinstated. Just a guess!

They are literally just haters, driven by hate and an addiction to attention.

Based on the ridiculous video Catherine posted on Facebook I'd say they have circled back to the protesting mandate that was passed at the beginning of the year.

The fact that there's an ordinance that says they can't protest.

Do they have jobs? Trader Joe’s is hiring and I hear you get to bang buckets and ring a bell there.

Too much like real work and they would have to put up with a diverse customer base wanting things from them.
