Red Line riders lose any glee due to dead train at Kendall/MIT

The MBTA is reporting a deceased Red Line train at Kendall/MIT means delays of up to 20 minutes all up and down the line - in fact, they say trains might just stand by at stations, no doubt with their doors open to let out any cool air they might have.

I was right there.
The incident happened on an outbound train just before Kendall, when shuttle buses were running between Kendall and Alewife.
Some guy got frustrated that the train was slow, had a meltdown, pulled the emergency brake and rang the intercom. Multiple T employees tried to reset the brake but they had problems that took a long time to fix. The frustrated guy was disrespectful and slid into Chad-speak, "I'm not talking to you. I want to speak to your supervisor."
When the train finally pulled into Kendall, the long arm of the law was ready and waiting.
