Man drove up from Dedham with a gun loaded with 32 rounds, police say

Boston Police report arresting a Dedham man they say was driving in Dorchester with a loaded gun early this morning.

Police say that around 1:20 a.m., officers on patrol ran the plates on a car in the area of Columbia Road near Geneva Avenue and that when it came back as having a revoked registration, they conducted a traffic stop:

As a result of the traffic stop, officers made contact with the driver, later identified as Jakai Jackman and recovered a loaded firearm from the motor vehicle.

The firearm was determined to be a Glock 26, 9MM with one round in the chamber and thirty-one rounds in the magazine.

Jakai Jackman, 18, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of a large-capacity feeding device, police say.

Innocent, etc.

...is uphill both ways. Walk to Endicott, take the train to South Station, and get on the Red Line.

Dorchester is north of Dedham (not due north but still north) so 'up' on a map. If he'd come from Swampscott, he would have driven 'down' into the city.

This is just facts.

I wonder if he had that Lego®-looking piece inserted that turns a Glock handgun into an automatic machine gun that was covered on 7 news at 9 tonight?

Anyhow; I guess if you don't now how to shot the more rounds the better. Personally, I think that incredibly long magazine looks silly as hell and not in the least bit intimidating.
