Van hits gasoline truck in Hyde Park

Van and gasoline tanker

The driver of a van plowed into a gasoline tank truck on Hyde Park Avenue at the Akiki gas station around 3:30 a.m., the Boston Fire Department reports. No explosion, but 50 to 60 gallons of fuel leaked onto the street. The station was still shut, a cleanup crew still on scene, at 9:30 a.m.

I guess people are still plowing into the sides of large vehicles the old-fashioned way too.

I'm just glad reality is nothing like the movies. In an action movie there would have been an earth shattering Ka-Boom!
