It's not the one shown in this photo, but E.M. Loew's West End Cinema (later West End Pussycat) was in the shadow of the former Green Line elevated on Causeway Street across from the old Boston Garden and North Station.

Dudley Square back then. I think that's where the B2 Police station used to be also where the ramp going up to the El was. Trolleys back then, then buses, now buses again but without the ramp.
