Wanted for attack at Downtown Crossing

Surveillance photos via TPD.

Transit Police have put out a BOLO for a man they say punched a 62-year-old woman after she said "excuse me" as she tried to walk past him in the concourse between the Orange and Red lines at Downtown Crossing around 2 p.m. yesterday.

If the alleged puncher looks familiar, contact detectives at 617-222-1050.

Sad but true that the trains are filled with angry people. Kudos to the Transit Police for their arrest of a troubled teen with a replica assault rifle threatening passengers yesterday at South Station. They showed great restraint in what could have been a deadly situation.

More police presence needed. Just having a law enforcement physical presence makes things like this less likely to happen. Public safety is important. Don't ever say "excuse me" to a person who is ready to snap.

I think Fred Flintstone has a longer neck.
Everyone be on the lookout for this new super villain, “The Human Thumb”

How much neck were you expecting to be able to see on a guy wearing a balaclava under a hoodie with another hood around his neck?
