Fire displaces three, kills cat on Bournedale Road in Jamaica Plain

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to 49 Bournedale Rd. in Jamaica Plain for a fire around 4:40 p.m.
Three residents were displaced but were uninjured, the department says adding one cat died in the fire.
Damage was estimated at $250,000.
